Well they used to, but that was back in the early 1800's before all the U.P. corn trees were cut down, sawn into lumber and sent back east to build those cheap little bed and breakfasts you see up towards Vermont. ;D

I paid a little more for my "Yooper Gold" than Steve, but I got the " A " grade syrup and he only got the " B " grade. ;) I guess that is what the " A " and " B " ment. :P
I thought I was supposed to bid on the "B" syrup for Burlkraft....that's what I thought.
Or maybe "B" was for better..........

The syrup arrived today in a bomb proof box , but I got it open anyway. 8) The jar is not full, that is after I poured a liberal amount on some nella icecream. That stuff is gooood. ;D That is the first time I ever poured maple syrup out of a mason jar. Here in Ky we usually put that clear liquid in masom jars. ;)
