Title: West Coast Chainsaw Class
Post by: Jimbo435 on May 30, 2006, 01:10:58 PM
I am in the process of buying 7.5 acres of woods that haven't been touched in maybe 100 years.  I need to clear about a half acre of 30 year old trees in what used to be a meadow.  I am looking for a chainsaw class on the west coast, preferably in Northern California.  Any recommendations?
Or, should I plan to fly back east for a Game of Logging class?

Jim in CA - who's only cut one small tree his whole life, and almost hit the car!  :o

Jim, you might consider calling around and find a profesional timber faller who's not too busy and hire him to help you with your project, you would probably learn as much or more from a good pro as you would from a class. Much emphasis on( good pro).

Stay safe, Mark
