Stihl makes two nice wireless ones. I use the larger one, been real happy with it.

You can get an electronic timing light and tach, that works on both 2 and 4 cycle engines for $99 from www.sportsmansguide.com and www.northerntools.com.
I have one I bought from Madsens ...

When you use those Stihl tachs do you have to hook on a wire or just hold it close to the saw???
Thanks
Just hold down by the top of the saw.
You can do either.
Clamp it to the sparkplug wire or hold it close.
Thanks for the info on madsens tachs. Never thought to look there.
