Sorry jp, those ole Woodmizers don't cut well at all, in fact I'll give you an extra $100 bucks over what you paid for the one you've got. I could use a few parts just to keep my ole klunker going. ;D

took yesterday off for the teachers retirement clambake and yes bourbon was consumed and shoes were thrown.
So, didn't get to cut the beauties till today got mostly clear lumber including many 12 through 20 inch boards.
the 27" scaled at 260 got 308 for 18.5% over run
the 26" scaled at 240 got 287 19.6% over
then it rained like mad :o :o
Was it rain or sweat from the boubon consumed the day before? :D LeeB
no waited till sweat was down then man did it rain global I think.
on the other side I guy I used to work for went to cut a pine on a property line residential.
One of the neighbors climed the tree to prevent him, he is fiesty and started to cut it anyway with her in it made the 6 and 11 news big enough might go national let me know ifin ya sees it on you news. she actuallly got a hammock and spent the hight in the tree a regular pine nothing special.
I started sawing for the first time about this time last year and I've left a lot of the butt logs til last. But for the last few weeks, we've been sawing 29"+ dia logs. Other than turning them...the sawing is easy.
Woodbowl, JP's saw is mine. He just hasn't gotten it finished before bringing it down off the mountain.
