Ya'll OK??? Just saw the tornado report on the news from South of Springfield. I know most of ya are North, but, them DanG things are CRAZY the way they travel????
Harold,
Thanks for your concern. Some people around Springfield had a hard time-----I believe some lives were lost.
Our bad weather is supposed to be this afternoon. We are SE of Springfield. We live in a deep holler so usually don't get the wind so bad, but I'll be glad when the cold front gets here and things calm down. The low was in the 60's last night.

We're ok. I think the storms will be moving out by mid-day. I haven't checked for damage yet.
DonT know why they can't keep them tornadoes in Kansas and Oklahoma ???
Dad has been in two tornadoes and mom in one. I don't want to be in one!! ::)
Read The Tornado Moved the Well! (https://forestryforum.com/cgi-bin/board/YaBB.pl?board=general;action=display;num=989515313;start=40#41)
Glad y'all are unscathed.
Hey, I lived and worked in Ellington, MO for a few months back in '95. I was near a state forest (Deer Run, maybe?). That's a nice part of the world.

Anybody hear from ARKANSAWYER this morning? He may have got his 'lectricty knocked out again. >:(
I didn't think Arky ever had lectricity ;)
Sure he does, haven't you noticed how everybody down there is always dragging their feet on the carpet. ;D
I didn't hear from him today Bibby, so yer surspicons may be correct. I guess I had better watch more TV cause I didn't know you were tryin to steal one of our little whirlwinds.
;D :P ;D :P
I thought it was just cause they weren't used to wearing shoes.
I think Arky has an extention cord runing up throgh the woods to a cousin's house over in the Branson, MO area. :P
