Can you guess what it is?

Stew
Stew,
That looks like the horn on a patent leather saddle ??? ??? ???
Nope, not a saddle, and not leather.
Stew
looks like old iron with some clear poly protectant.
Nope, not old (brand spanking new), but it does have a protectant on it. And it is iron.
Stew
wal now it wouldn't happen to be an anvil would it ???
Not an anvil either. It is bigger than one though. :D
Stew
I saw an anvil that weighed two ton , is it bigger then that?
You got me on that one, it's not that big. It was mentioned in one of my previous posts, probably in the last month.
Stew
A weather balloon?
Top of a wrought iron fence.
Baked watermelon
?
Thats as far back as i had the time to look... :)
It is a piece of black shiney metal! I went back 80 posts and didn't see anything >:(
WHAT IS IT ???
Looks like part of a wood plane... top of the frog I think it's called?
Nope, not a plane part, baked watermelon, Fence or a weather ballon. It is a piece of shiney metal though. Brdmkr, you were pretty close at 80, there was a mention of it there, dig a little deeper. ;)
Stew
A hydra drill or a percussion drill or something else to drill a water well with.
Bob
Bob, you were pretty close. It's a post hole digger for the tractor. The picture is of the very tip of the auger which is laying on it's side. I'm still tempted to use it for a water well, but the shed, shop, and house piers and the fence is what I got it for. Next time your down this way, I'll buy you lunch.
Stew
I sure was a long way off to win. If I was pitching horseshoes, I would have been 100ft from the post.
After you told me, that thing does look like the tip of an auger. It has been a while since I have been down your way, but I will stop in if I get down there again. 8)
Bob- the winner with a poor guess
Bob, truth be told, the thread was starting to die so I had to do something. ;D I'll even extend the offer to if I'm up your way, I'll buy you lunch, how about that?
