Title: preasure treating cost
Post by: lamar on January 20, 2003, 11:17:23 PM
I would like to get some timbers and boards treated(cca). Down here (east tx.) syp is the most plentifull. I figure if you grow and mill your own lumber why buy it retail? Problem is what is a fair price to pay. I was told .12 cents a board ft. from on person from another state. Ive checked around and best I can come up with is .20 ft. This cuts it close on overall cost when retail it sells for .40 to .60 for the treated lumber. Can anyone help me out on this? Thanks larry
