Title: Hows your garden growin

Just had fresh brussell sprouts out of my garden. Dad picked me a head of couliflower and said if I wanted there was a mess of of broccoli ready. My work hand dug some potatoes a couple days ago  :o Hmmm beter do a realality check here yep cell phone and calender says January 4. It's going to get near 60 tomorrow. If you look under my name you'll see i'm in nothern N.J. it should be 16 degrees not 60 we should be diggin snow not taters. I got tulips in my wifes flower bed up about 6" Phone ain't rang in 2 weeks for firewood. Were the heck has winter gone?

Ask the people from KS and CO.What a mess they have.No veggies here for the picking,but temps in the 40's are the norm for this year.Enjoy it.It's not going to last,or I don't see how it can.I only have an inch of hard crust here now.Had a ice storm here,I guess you would call it that.

I'd love to see some snow, but more than anything I'd like the ground to freeze for a while.  I'm so DanG sick of all the mud and slop around the house.

Then again I won't have to cut and split near as much firewood for next year...got most of what I started with.  I've been burning a lot of my hardwood slabs in the woodstove since it doesn't need to burn for very long with this weather  :)  I'd still rather have the cold right now  :-\
