Should be headed for Florida within 3 weeks. While there, want to see about getting my Cycle built. I'm thinking about Hydraulic Drive system, instead of belt ??
How does one size a pump and motor to a 2 or 3 cylinder Kubota Diesel ???

Ya tried our Sponsor Eggimann's yet? They do a lot of hydraulic work with and around trucks of every description known to truckers, and may have some ideas for you.

Here are a couple formulas. You are on your own for doing the math. :D
Horsepower to drive pump= Flow Rate (G.P.M.) x system pressure (P.S.I.) divided by 1714 x % PUMP EFFICIENCY
As a general rule of thumb 1 horse is required for each gallon per minute at 1500 psi
Motor Horsepower = Torque (ft/lbs) x RPM divided by 5252
