With all the notoriety about the recent Florida tornados and the Whooping crane deaths caused by the tornados, I thought   FF'ers might be interested in reading the news and the facts about "Operation Migration."  I have been following project this for a number of years and always find it interesting. Of particular interest for us, the destination of the 1400 mile trip of the ultralight aircraft excorted, most recent class of Whoopers, is a site about 15 miles from where we spend the winter in Florida.  This is where the deaths occured on a couple of weeks ago.  Go to www.operationmigration.org to learn more about it. This is a huge loss and is certainly disappointing to project followers. Some have complained that the loss was caused by poor management. This is certainly not the case in my opinion.

Rebuilding a city that is below sea level in a huricane area is poor management.  ::)

Apparently, another wave of tornadoes hit south Florida the last couple days. Got the weather report from mother in Davenport. ;)
