I have a firend that recently purchased a 2004 or 2005 Deutz Agrolux 60 4wd tractor with FEL and grapple (only 200 hours). He bought it off of a fellow that was in a bind and will sell it to me for what he has in it. I'd love to have it, but I really don't have the cash laying around. Still, if it is a really good deal, I'd consider buying it. If it put too much of a drain on the wallet, I figure I could sell it and maybe make a little. BUT, if he gave too much for it (or even pretty close to what it is worth), I'd be better off to just forget about it. I have searched the net, but can not find a price on these. So any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Closest thing I found was an Agrolux70 for $19,500. It was a Canadian tractor shown on a US website, so I don't know which currency they're talkin' about.
I'd contact a Deutz-Fahr dealer and see what a new one would run.
I'm feeling as though I may just do that. There is a dealer not too far from here. I took a look at the tractor today. Not sure it would fit me. Way too many levers and switches. It was a sho' nuf high-tech tractor.
I have a cousin who swears that Deutz was/is the best DanG tractor ever built. Looks like you may have an opportunity for a great deal.
I've never had one of their tractors, but I do have a Deutz engine in my forwarder. It is a very, very good engine.
Deutz tractors aren't popular around here, I could only answer a question about John Deere.
