Title: Tree Care Monthly Magazine
Post by: Stamp on June 12, 2007, 01:43:49 PM
The Tree Care Association (formerly the National Arborist Association) publishes a great monthly magazine for those involved in the tree care industry.  Article topics range from science-based research, technical tree care, safety, business advise and member written articles.

This month's edition features and article "Ignorance Is Not Bliss" (pg. 72) by Vic Foerster of West Michigan Tree Service and the current chair of the Michigan Urban and Community Forestry Council.   To read this article, go to the following website link: http://www.tcia.org/PDFs/TCI_Mag_June_07.pdf

Archived editions of the magazine are available to view online at:  http://www.treecareindustry.org/Public/pubs_tci_magazine.htm#ordertci
Your company can begin receiving the Tree Care Industry magazine for free by registering on their website at: http://tci.magserv.com/cgi-bin/subscribe

This magazine has more stuff on running a business than any other timber magazine out there. IMHO

For anyone cutting trees, logging, sawmilling there is always an article or two that will make you think.  They cover such a huge range of subjects over the course of the year that you could get a college education from it.

If there is one word to describe their mag, it is "professionalism".

I get a dozen or more rags and each has its own niche to fill in my need for info.  This one should be added to everbodies list.
