Title: Looking for any type of information regarding the Kini tree.

Today I have got 2 meters and half log and 20 inch diameter of Kini tree. I did some search through google.com but did come with anything concerning the Kini tree. It is kind red wood and it is very hard wood. Could anybody run into this tree before or heard about this tree. Help request information.

Must be a local name for the tree, I can't find anything on it either.

Could be an Acacia species. Here is an interesting term, chatoyancy, in relation to acacia wood.  ;D

You could have the name misspelled, and be referring to Kiri wood, which is paulonia. But, it is light colored wood. So, that doesn't fit.

Kini seems to be a common middle eastern given name.
