Title: Digital Depth Guage
Post by: GF on September 13, 2007, 07:32:52 PM
Has anyone attempted to retrofit your sawmill with a digital depth gauge, such as the ones from http://www.wixey.com?  I was thinking about trying to retrofit one and see how well it would work.  Any input is greatly appreciated.

Amazon sells a 16' digital Starrett electronic tape measure. Search for Starrett D3416, $35.00 or so. I've had one for a couple of years, think I paid $24.00?  Measures in fractions or decimal. Replaced one batt. If this one quits, I'll buy another. I've got a Wixey for the planner, never have installed it.
