Title: Pikes Peak State Park-McGregor,Iowa
Post by: inspectorwoody on October 21, 2007, 09:27:42 PM
Shot these photos today while out and about with Dad and Natalie. Beautifal day. Warm temp and nice breeze made for a great day to hike around.

McGregor is located on the Mississippi River in NE Iowa. About an hour drive for us.

Hiking through the timber, I couldn't help but look around and look at all the nice logs!  ;D Been to the park many times but I guess I never took the time to notice.

NE Iowa is one of my favorite places in Iowa. Beautiful country all along the mighty Mississippi.  8)    I used to travel along that route on my trips to LaCrosse WI  :)

We had a spectacular fall this year with all the brilliant color.  :o
