Shot these photos today while out and about with Dad and Natalie. Beautifal day. Warm temp and nice breeze made for a great day to hike around.
McGregor is located on the Mississippi River in NE Iowa. About an hour drive for us.

Hiking through the timber, I couldn't help but look around and look at all the nice logs! ;D Been to the park many times but I guess I never took the time to notice.
NE Iowa is one of my favorite places in Iowa. Beautiful country all along the mighty Mississippi. 8) I used to travel along that route on my trips to LaCrosse WI :)
We had a spectacular fall this year with all the brilliant color. :o
