I was looking through my photo album and noticed a bunch of comments that don't make sense, and they are all posted by users with the name starting with Guest_

Cripes. teaches me to go away. There are thousands of them. Keep your kids out of the gallery until I can get them banned and the proper blocks in place.

I'm home now. Before the rebuild of the forum one of the safe guards I had was to never allow guest comments on the gallery. It was over looked in restoration. :-\
There were over 265,000 spam comments in the gallery. They must use some sort of bot to do it. They are gone now, but the major problem with that is, that all comments had to be taken out. >:( >:( >:(
I think they should change deer season to spammer season.

The only way I could do it was delete them all. There was not way I was going to sort through that many. I may be able to restore the old comments via the database backup, but I have to find out when this crap started to get on the other end of it.

I think we all need to lobby congress to make law outlawing spam. I am getting sick and tired of all the spam that I get.

I think spamming and hacking should be capital offenses. they cost society way more than their life is worth.
I opened my e-mail this morning to see five messages offering a rather explicit service. The subject lines and text were identical, the sender was different. One key word was mis spelled, presumably to get past the filter. It has been going on for several weeks.
I went to Tools>Mail Rules and entered the word so that any messages containing it would detour to the deleted file but what a PITA. There should be a check box
beside 'send electronic warhead to nuke sender's computer'.
End of rant. There, now I feel better. Rats, spoke too soon. Coffee can is empty. Grrr.
