Title: Peterson Tool Kit
Post by: Nate Surveyor on December 25, 2007, 11:34:19 AM
I'm just curious, what does a standard Peterson Tool kit contain?

From watching the video, it appears that they are shipped with a tool kit.

I'd like to "re assemble" a tool kit, as when I bought mine used, it did not come with a tool kit.

But, it did come with a great company!

Thanks,

Nate

Hi Nate,

Happy New Year!

Thanks heaps for the compliment  ;D

Okay, since you have an older model 9", I will have to give you a list of tools we send out with an 8" mill instead, which is:

5mm allen key x2
4mm allen key
9/16 spanners x2
3/4 spanners x2
13mm spanner
17mm spanner

Also included with the kid is some documentation - i.e. manual, some safety gear; muffs and glasses, and a few parts; nuts and bolts.

I hope this helps  :)

HSV and Nate,
I would like to add a couple of things to the list: 5mm socket for a 1/4" or 3/8" ratchet, 15/16" X 2 open end wrenches ( for pivot handle) and a small grease gun (grease bearings and battery posts)
Just finished installing the crossbrace upgrade that I made and I could not believe how much easier the winch works now. Really pleased with it and it is rock solid.
