Title: tenon jig doesn't fit
Post by: Crunchycon on March 08, 2008, 01:18:07 PM
I just bought a used Powermatic tablesaw and my Delta tenoning jig doesn't fit.
The miterslot is too far away, (5-5/8").
I don't think I can modify the jig to make up the difference.
Is there another jig that fits?

I have a Grizzly copy of the Delta tendon jig setting on my Unisaw right now.  The Unisaw has 4 1/2" to the blade.  I checked my Grizzly jig and it has pre drilled holes 1 1/4" away.  Should be able to remount the rail which will allow it to work on a PM with the wider spacing.  Whatya think?

I noticed the Grizzly said "Additional assembly required for left tilting saws" But I wasn't sure what that meant.
Sounds like that is the answer.

Thanks, Larry!
