Title: Dust collection system ?
Post by: Dale Hatfield on March 09, 2008, 02:51:13 PM
The carving Barn is packed full of saw dust.  I need a small system but bigger than a shop vac.  As of right now we use a rake and a scoop.
I want to be able to suck it up an have it end in a collection box on other side of wall. Then the wife can pack it off for horse beding.
Have an Ideas as to a brand nameor home brew system?

You can try the clearvue systems. I have one of their largest ones and love it.

I have a woodsucker 2hp cyclone unit.  Works great for a one man shop.  If I were getting new, would look at the new Grizzly units, they are less expensive.  Only now I would get a 3hp, would handle the woodmaster better.  That thing fills a 50 gallon drum in just a few minutes.  And running it over is a bit of a pain.  Jim
