Title: "HIGH LINING", yet another operation I did not know had a name
Post by: Ironwood on July 24, 2008, 10:19:56 AM
Here are some pics of high lining some walnuts out of the woods and onto the trailer with the "urban log assult vehical" or VULA (vehicular urban log assulting???). This was a project for a paying customer friend of mine, I  hated to see the logs in his business/ log yard, but it is also nice to get "cash in hand".  PLEASE note the BLUE Logrite tool in the foreground in two of the pics (unstaged I might add), thanks Logrite.  I did not use the arch in the back of the truck, it was just there "incase"

Nice set up, btw, that looks like a very nice barn in the background.

Definitely the way to go. Nice rig you have there.
