I currently use Lennox bladers 16"3" x 1 1/4 x .042...I was looking at the Timber Wolf blades catalog and all they show is 16" and 16' 6"..is it because they dont make that size OR do I order the 16' and use a stretcher ;D
opps...16' and 16' 6"... ::)
I would think you've not got that much adjustment. I've heard of people getting a blade as much as 1" shorter and not even being able to get it over the wheels.
3" in length, one way or the other is going to require an 1-1/2 and more of adjustment travel - one way or the other more than what it would take to be slack or to tighten it.
I suspect they'll supply you the blade you need even if it's not in their catalog.
I got 16' 4" blades from Timberwolf. Just call them and they will weld to your needs.

Just in case you would like to try Wood-Mizer blades, they too will make blades to your application - not just for Wood-Mizer mills.
Mary once delivered some re-saw stock to a wood novelty shop. They used Wood-Mizer blades in their equipment and didn't even know Wood-Mizer made mills and re-saws. ::)
I read in some of Timber Wolf's literature that they will weld you up any size blade for the price of the next longer blade they stock.
