Frank_Pender (59)
Thank you very much, Squire Tom. It is appreciated.
Today I feel like I am 29, :D with all that I have done since 4:30 this morning. That includes getting out of bed at that time and staying out. ;D I have been cruzeing around a bit on the Forum, but I have been extremely busy with the mill and riding herd on four major logging jobs coming up and inthe process. :-/
Just picked up a massive Gary Oak today. We will haul it tomorrow afternoon. 26' of no limbs and top end at 34". Now all you folks East of the Rockies what is that in Scribner scale? A bunch, right? I can hardly wait to sink my saw teeth into that "baby". I have left about 8" of 4 way crotching for slabbing with the slabber, to make tables. I will take the camera and take pictures. Just be patient in getting to see them. :-[
Happy Birthday Frank! 8) I'll catch up with you next month! :o
Happy birthday Frank! keep up the good work.
John
Happy B'day Frank 8)
I tried that a couple of times. Charlie. When I was a high school freshman and there were a couple of senior cheerleaders that were a bit older. ;D I never did catch up to them, cuz they never slowed down enough for that to happen. :-/ That went on for a whole year, then they were gone. ???
I which you a good time at your 59th too, Charlie, in advance. 8)
Thank you, John. By the was when are you fellas going to come to visit? :D I could sure use your father-in-laws old radial arm saw about now. the other one has just seen its last breath of electicity a few days ago. :'(
Happy b-day a day late, Frank. It sounds like you had a good day. I am not familiar with a Gary Oak but I am sure you will enjoy sawing that beast.
Frank, I'll be coming down not this weekend but maybe the next, I've got to saw up some oak this weekend. I'll talk to you next week and pin down a day and time. Steve also wants to come.
John
That is marvelous, John. 8) Have Steve bring a new set of belts for the hydraulic. I will pay him to help put them on from me. 8) It will save me a major trip witht he unit to the plant. :-/
Happy birthday Frank! Enjoy them while you are still young. ;D
Thank you again, all the new ones. Yes Patty I do enjoy everyone of them. In fact virtually every day is a birth day for me.
Just yesterday, at the DMV, I was getting th title changed over on a Lincoln Towne Car I had just purchsed when a student I had not seen in about 25 + years walked in the building and took a number. That was a birthday for me, for sure. We had a great visit in our half hour waiting for my turn. Those kinds of birthdays I can handle all the time.
Got in last night. Too bushed to post much. Happy belated, Frank. Someday, I would like to stop by and see yer operation. Yer jest TOO FAR away. :-/ ::) ;D ;D
