It's that time of year. Anyone working on pumpkin chunkers? ;D
I've got a sling shot type design in the works right now. This has been shooting the little pumkins a pretty good distance.
It sure is fun to see it explode. ;D
You better a get a pikchure on here of your pumkin launcher . :D 8)
240' in the air! 8)
It rolled another 20' before exploding into the chainlink fence. :D
better give it somemore getup-and -go there going all most a mile.
The longest is like over 4,000 ft.
But there is several different classes.

Mr. Mom,
This was just cobbled together this afternoon. I would love to see something that big, though. :o
The lower pic is priceless, the boys pullin' for all tehy got 8) 8)
that is a good picture!
back when I was in college, they'd have a pumpkin drop contest, they'd drop them off of the top of a 10 story building, while aiming for a target, and the goal was to not have the pumpkin break.
a group of kids from the local highschool would always win :)
We had our big cub scout fall fun day yesterday.
520' on our pumpkin chunker. It may have rolled a bit farther, but for the lake it rolled into. That beat all other machines! 8) The standard has been set for next year. Bigger and better for next time. :)
I'll try to get a couple of pics loaded up soon.
