Everlasting Gobstopper?
This could be a real set of clues to the detective in you guys.
I personally acquired this almost, but not quite, two years ago. It was hiding behind my computer monitor for most of that time since I discovered it last month. It took me a day to remember what it was. :)

Dried up petrifried orange peel!
We have a winner! I didn't even have to resort to more clues. LeeB was correct with his guess of a Kumquat.
I picked that fresh Kumquat to try 2 years ago this last February, the day before I left for home after visiting Tom. I took it out of my Suitcase and placed it by my computer, and some how, it never rotted, it just shriveled up and became completely dehydrated. I have lots of little mementos around my desk so things are easily over looked for long periods. When I clean up, I just scoop it all to one side, dust, then scoop it to the other side. :D
I've been debating on whether to drop it in a glass of water to see what it will do. ;D
Anyhow, LeeB, send my your address and now its time for contest #6. :)
:o Lee got it .... :-\ I had my toast in the oven keepin'warm and was sitting by the table just awaiting for the jelly .... digin1 :) :)

Tom, Do we have Kumquats in South Florida? ???
Come on down and get some Marcel. I'll even provide the toast. I don't know about having all the luck. I can't recall ever having won a contest in my life.
I'd go down , but stuck here with da snow . ;D
