This little guy showed up in our back yard this morning for a nice surprise. He must be someones pet because my wife was feeding him out of her hands. Got a short video clip of him till the memory card said it was full. If he sticks around I'll get another. There is also a Hawk in the area scouting him out. ::)

Oohhh you gotta git that on film ;D ;D ;D ;D
Well the Rabbit has been coming to eat here every night. :)
My wife almost got him to eat out of her hand. I think the rabbit may have belonged to a little girl who comes to visit her father on Weekends down the road.
They appeared to have an empty cage tucked under some Palmetto Bushes. He has been on the loose for a while and I don't think he'll ever like a cage again if caught. ::)
It will only be a matter of time before something else gets him but for now he is a free Rabbit.
This video is a minute and half long.

Try a piece of apple. Our pet rabbit loves it, but not to crazy about carrots. :)

Yeah, you're right. There were some cut apples in the yellow bowl. :) He eats them first. I tried holding a piece of apple in my hand but he wouldn't take it from me. She even bought some Rabbit food. The inside of that bowl looked like some expensive trail mix. :D
We have wild rabbits around here , And im glad the Owls and eagles / hawks keep them in check ..
All i find is a fur tuff or sometimes the dog shows up with a bone that we never gave ..
There nice to see , but they eat your garden in a race with Deer to see who can finish it first.

Nice video.
Might get you a rabbit trap if you want it to have a long life. I found a link that looks like a fairly simple trap.

Suppose you wanna ignore them last couple paragraphs. Between the dogs, cats, coyotes, foxes, bobcats, hawks and owls I am always amazed how many rabbits exist around here.
Just curious,whats in them pots?

Those are some Mahogany Trees I started from Seed a while Back. I'll have a new picture to update the thread soon. This is how it all got started.

Jill wants that wabbit ::) ::) ::)
She's wanted one forever and her mean boyfriend won't let her have one :D :D :D
I showed her the video and she wants to come down and catch it and bring it home.
She'll be flying in tomorrow afternoon. Can you pick her up at the airport ?? :D :D :D
Remind Jill that she wanted a cat too. :D
We have maybe one or two wild rabbits around here. We went years without any. one or two rabbits, when trying to grow plants is all you need to make that endeavor a complete and utter failure.
We have a flowering crab tree that I have posted about here on the forum. I think the thread might have been called a tree worth the mess, or something like that. Anyhow, I got the idea one year to plant morning glories at the base of the tree. They grew up the tree, and wrapped around the branches and completely filled it. When the flowers would bloom in the morning it lookes like we had a morning glory tree. That was the year before the first rabbit arrived. The following year, I replanted as here in Michigan, the Morning Glory is an annual. The plants did well, they grew rapidly and started to reach all parts of the tree again. Then one morning I noticed that the plant was wilted through out the tree. Yup, you guessed it Clipped off at the ground by those waskally wabbits. I tried again a couple more times and never been able to get the plants past the first branch before they get sawed off.
Domestic rabbit is delicious but even the hard hearted guy I am I cannot bring myself to butcher them.
Unfortunately I found that out after the meat rabbit I bought had babies and they had babies and they had babies..... :D
