I bought a new 346xp with the 18"bar (I haven't even put gas in it yet) and it has the husqvarna H30 chain on it now that the saw came with . I don't know if it came with a narrow kerff bar or not, but i would like to buy some woodlandpro 20RC chain. can you guys tell me if i have to do anything special, or will the 20RC chains work with the stock bar that the saw came with? Thanks for any help.
They are both .325 pitch and .050 gauge so either will work on the original bar and sprocket. You should be able to run standard .325 chain on the narrow kerf bars, you just can't run the narrow kerf chain on standard width bars.
