Post by: printer on June 02, 2009, 12:30:38 PM
I have five mature sweet gum trees that I would like to have taken down. I am in East TN. Anybody interested in having them?

Welcome to the forum.

Do you have pics of the trees?

We like pics.

I've cut up a few sweet gums- makes beautiful lumber sometimes; other times it twists and shouts and does all manner of crazy things while drying.  Luck of the draw I guess...

It generally goes for pallets and sometimes as core veneer in plywood.
