Title: Headed for Jersey
Post by: thedeeredude on August 29, 2009, 06:21:02 PM
On Friday the 4th I will be leaving for New Jersey.  Its part of my early birthday gift.  On Saturday we will be at Howell Living History Farm, but I'm not sure what to do on Friday.  Anyone from the area who has suggestions, I'd appreciate it.  I was thinking of going to the Trenton Barracks.  Also, any suggestions on where to stay overnight?  Thanks.

You might be able to see a Black Bedouin Tent in Englewood.  It's air-conditioned too.  :D

I don't know if they would have room for you though, even if they are known for entertaining important visitors in it.

On the way to Jersey, stop at Peddler's Village in Lahaska. For dining, the Cock 'n Bull is hard to beat. That's in Bucks County on Route 202 and 263. Can't help on a place to stay though there are many choices.

In Jersey, everyone should see (and smell) Newark at least once.  ::)   :D :D

And of course you must go to the Jersey Shore. Pick a spot, Atlantic City, Wildwood, there are many very nice places. Most all places have a boardwalk besides Atlantic City and of course there are the casinos.
