Some lumber came off my land, but most was takin from a provincial park, that was seeded in the 40's. Yeah the contrast is okay, I wanted it to be same, amazing how the pine and spruce take stain different. Thanks for the complements guys

that is great, no fooling on the overhang, I like what will be the porch, you should be able to relax there.
Yup..only way to do log...dont try to keep that golden color.
