Title: 60cc or 70cc?
Post by: smith2bj on September 16, 2009, 06:08:59 PM
I have a Stilh 361 and I was wondering if I should just port the mufflier or just step up to a 70cc saw?

What are you planning to do with the saw?

Maybe jump up to a 80 to 90 cc, shouldn't be a lot of difference between the 361 and a 70 cc saw.   Steve

Trust me there is a lot of difference from a 60cc and a 70cc saw...  That is the reason I ended up selling my 361.  Even with a muffler mod... it wasn't gonna have the grunt that my 044 has...

Modded 60cc saws are overrated in my book... but that's just me... :)

Oh you can make a 60 cc scoot .Then again you can get more scoot from a 70 .

It's that old adage of no replacement for displacement . ;D
