Title: Husqvarna 394xp bar identification?
Post by: teddy on October 25, 2009, 01:14:33 PM
I found a older bar for my 394xp at the farm I forgot about!!!!!!!!!!(??????????)
I wanted to make some chains(or try, with my new breaker and spinner)
But don't know the size.

The only markings on the bar is
17636
HV/T24   50PA
And it has 3/8 sprocket tip(it is stamped)

My guess? is that it is a 3/8, .050 bar?
Any help would be grateful.
Matt

Is it a GB brand? I don't know what the 17636 is, but I have several GB bars with the same 50PA stamp. The T24 tells me it's a 24" bar (84 link for your chain) and I'll guess that the 50PA means it's .050 gauge (mine all are).

I don't know if it is GB or what brand?
I was given the bar and chain 2-3 years ago!?
I was going to assume HV was Husqvarna?

GB made bars for Husky a while ago - if it came with a chain count the dl, but nost likely it is 84 dl.

If you post a pic that show the tip, it will be easy to confirm that it is a GB bar (or not) - but all evidence so far points that way!
