Keeeeripes People it was cold here today.
Horses are puttin' on hair and the chickens cooped up at 6 oclock. Ma had me batten down the hatches on the barn tonight. I don't think it broke 45 all day. More through the weekend; they say its supposed to get down in the 30's at night. I've been cuttin' and splittin' wood for the cook stove on the weekends but I ain't quite ready for this. :o No sirreeee!!!

It's been getting chilly here in the evenings and early mornings, but it has been warming up to the 70's and 80's during the daytime.
I actually got a couple more blankets out the other night and slept in my fleece robe.
It won't be too long before we have to fire up the furnace.
She froze last night. 27 degree's. :-/
Gus
My, it is winter in Texas, got down to 67 and we had to turn the furnace on. ::)
In the 80"s here yesterday and I think 70 will be the high today with 47 being the low, according to yahoo!
Hate to rub it in, but except for todays hurricane driven rain September has been DanG near perfect here in NH. Only cold morning was back in the first week and that was only a problem because all the windows were still open. :D
well woodmills1 its warmer in your part of NH than mine lucky you.
We had a pretty good frost here in ND last night too. I haven't figgered out the boiler in da turdy room house so we don't have any heat, just a big feather comforter. I suppose I'm going to have to figure that thing out before long. My wood boiler don't get here for better than a month and I don't think we can wait that long.
Mark
I will have to look up richmond ona map. Wow from your bio, hitchhiking I did my fair share of that, got all the way round the country back in the early 70's. Lotsa great times and stories.
Richmond is almost due west of Hudson. You are 42N45 72W16 and I am 42N46 71W25 but I bet you are in another temperature zone.
