Hi all!
I am new to this forum!
I have a past as a teaching Swedish Forest Engineer. I taught all technical subjects aswell as logging and forestry. I live in US since 9+ years, currently in Port Angeles WA.
In the late 1990's we had a group of Americans, representing forestry/logging education, visiting my (former) forestry/logging school in Sweden. The group was lead by Soren Eriksson, [url]http://www.gameoflogging.com] (http://[/url)in Sweden. The group was lead by Soren Eriksson, http://www.gameoflogging.com.
Is it anyone in this forum that recognize this visit in Sweden?
I am also looking for US schools/training facilities for harvester/forwarder CTL operators.
Cheers or "Skål"
Bets regards

I know of at least one Finn that is working for a large CTL operator training new operators and filling in for other operators. And Ponsse has people that train operators, mostly new owners of CTL machines and they have their own simulator.
Oh and welcome to the forum. 8)

I remember a visit to Wisconsin by Soren Eriksson, in the mid to late 70's. He put on a tree cutting demonstration at my place for a group in the SW Wisconsin area. Learned a lot from him, but don't know much about the details of the transformation that took place to form into the GOL (game of logging).
