Title: Hardy OWB
Post by: woodburner on December 31, 2009, 09:31:59 PM
I installed a Hardy outdoor wood furnace, summer 2008, and we are very satisfied with the way it works. I looked at the Classic boilers and I choice this one because it is made out of stainless, and it was $2500.00 cheaper. I have a neighbor that has had his for 30 years and never had a firebox burnout issue. These are popular in the south. I live in Tennessee. I use about 6 cords of wood in the winter, but our winters are not as harsh as the ones in the north. Hope this helps someone.

Hardy is about an hour and a half from my house, I plan to use one when I build my house. Member Pinenut has one and likes it.
