Next Saturday cannot arrive soon enough for Sugar, my yellow lab. My orange vest has been washed, the shotgun well oiled, and I just purchased 2 boxes of shells. Hmmm, what shall I serve along with grouse for dinner next Sunday?
I'll bring the Dinner Rolls!
If you're coming home with a grouse for supper, you gotta be a better shot and quicker at the trigger than me. Actually I migh be quick, it's just that I think slow and by the time I realize a grouse flew, it's gone. I stick to ducks. At least they fly relatively straight. :) I've got a chocolate lab that will be duck hunting with me starting the 29th! 8) 8) Let me know what time you'll be back and I'll bring pumpkin pie.
