Whats an almost new (maybe 5-cords through it) 266xp worth? I bought this saw from an old timer friend that couldn't pull the cord any longer. He bought it new too take down some sugar maples back in the 90's that were in his yard where he use to live. I mainly bought to use for a saw mill but haven't used it for that and now I have a saw mill, I realize I need a 95cc head. So I'd like to sell this or trade for what I need.
Thank you,
David
i think that saw would be a keeper if its in any kind of nice shape. i have one still and use it as spare for blocking firewood. it would take a $600-700 saw (372xp) lol to replace it. in 20 years of average use i replaced a piston, carb insulator block, a wrap handle and ign coil. cant complain! if you have to sell it, put it on ebay and watch the bids!
I sold a 266xp PHO runner (not a looker) to a friend for $40. I just didnt want that model in my stable.
it's in Mint condition, looks brand new. maybe I'll try e-bay.
