Title: Woodland Stewardship Conference
Post by: Larry on October 12, 2003, 05:30:53 PM
November 8, 2003 at the Lied Conference Center, Arbor Day Farm, Nebraska City, Nebraska.

Some of the topics covered are MarketingTimber, Using Home-Grown Wood, Forest Stand Improvement, Design and Establishment of Windbreaks, High Value Hardwood Plantation Establishment and Mangement, Sawing Your Own Wood and a whole bunch more.  Sorta pick what you are interested in and attend the class.  All of the classes are put on by consulting and state Foresters.

I'll probably go to this one as I saw some interesting topics in the registration.  Cost is about the same as a good steak dinner for two and they throw in lunch.

Call Paul Wray at 515-294-1168 for info or if you're in the Midwest might be able to get info at your local extension office.
