anybody got pictures of getting there machinery stuck?
yes i do but i can see how to put the pics on here. i guess they are in a diffrent format. :(
Well i used to have a few pictures of the skidder stuck, but i dunno what happened too them.. One was of it after i broke through the ice on a Small pond, dropped the front end through, had water up too the fan.. Had to winch myself backwards out of the hole. Second was when I tried to cross an "old" slough.. yeah it was a bit soft. had to winch myself out of that mess too
Havent burried the Processor or skid steer or Dozer yet, :D
Then there was this: Does it count?

Heck no, I don't want any evidence..... :D
Bobus2003, How did you happen to tip the skidder over, it doesn't look very steep? Did you winch it over? I have logged for years but always with a FWD tractor. I am always interested in learning how these things happen so that I can possibly avoid doing the same.

Yeah, I winched it over while trying to make a 90* turn
Found a septic tank leach field with a 1500 gpm Mack fire truck once. Finding it wasn't a problem and it only took two wreckers over an hour to finish destroying that ladies back yard. Fortunately there's no pictures to share. We were able to save the neighbor's house with the on board 500 gallons of water after hand jacking about 500 'of fire hose. Needless to say the chief was not amused. Don't you just hate it when that happens?

Was on a grass fire in Eastern SD, We ended up Sinking a Ford F350 Brushtruck, a Pumper and a 4x4 Farm Tractor w/flail mower in a Slough.. Talk about a difficult situation..trying to extinguish a fire and protect stuck units.. when it was all said and done we burned almost 60 acres and had to get a Large 4x4 JD Tractor to pull out the stuck rigs
I think Ron's equipment thread has lotsa pictures of stuck
Stonebroke
Stuck this one in an 8 foot deep unseen drainage ditch while building firelines on a prescribed burn last fall. Fortunately it was within 50 feet of a county road. We parked a heavy duty wrecker on the road, winched it upright, then winched it out forward.
Operator buggered up his left knee, had to call the rescue squad to take him to the hospital. Had knee surgery in late January, he is still off work recovering.
