Hi guys, this may be one for the Canadians.
Last night my wife and i watched a very interesting documentry about a very strange homicide case in BC Canada.
To cut a long story short, i think the incident was in 2007. Over a 9 month period dismembered feet still in sneakers kept washing up on several different beaches over a wide area. Only one pair were ever matched up, which means there are still several left or right feet missing.
There were all sorts of tests, experiments done from anylising the bones to dropping sneakers into the river mouth from different locations to see if it could be determined where all these feet riginated from.
Well i was intrigued all the way through, and kept trying to think what the outcome was going to be.
How dissappointing when th doco came to an end only to be informed that the investigation was still going on.
Can anybody please enlighten me as to the outcome, was it discovered whose feet they all were where did they come from etc etc
I have tried googling but to no avail.
Please help i am fascinated.
Thanks in advance
Lee
I watched that same documentary and never got closure either. It seems that they did find a murder or suicide victim that they felt was a copycat, but I've never heard of the solution to the many feet.
funeral home with short caskets.

Nothing has ever showed up locally, after the initial newspaper/TV reports. Since we're due south of BC, we get a lot of their news. It remains a mystery?
It could be leftover parts from Donk's brush cutting crews.
There's still nothing confirmed about the feet that were washing up on the shores. There have been many speculations but nothing confirmed. The R.C.M.P have been pretty closed lipped about it and vague with any answers but more than likely it has to do with the many ships that pass by our coastline.
My theory is that body parts were thrown overboard, some sunk, some were fish food and as sneakers float and most have air in them they just floated ashore with the hacked off feet in them.
It's kind of and odd story as the feet all came ashore over a few months then suddenly stopped.
Story never interested me much as I would've liked to have a pair of sneakers, good if you have a peg leg I guess. :o
They should check with the local toe-ing service.
I hear they're going to investigate the sawyers who are charging by the bored foot.
