SawDust Day, that is.
Larry should have the Cat running next week. Today, I cut down a Hackberry and a Walnut, and had to use a "come-along" to pull them into a pile. Still have one stick of walnut and one hackberry to get to the pile. This clears the way for the 24" red oak to tip. A near 24" white oak (only one small branch in about a 30' trunk) is now open to tip too. three more medium sized walnuts, a shagbark from hell (about 36" diameter trunk about 8-10' and BIG branches), a fallen sycamore, and a couple of others.
Taking a vacation day Fri Dec 5 to stack logs, and getting Ron out with the TK B20. We's gettin' us some wood.
Hope the weather holds.
