a few little beams.
spent 2 days last week cutting beams for under a deck. that was gunna have a 7 ton spa bath on it.
-3 - 12x3s
14 - 8x3s
10 - 6x3s
36 - 8x2s
and 350m of 5 x 1.5 for the floor.
about 5.2 cube all up i reckon. (approx 6 ton)
got it out of 10.2 cube of log.

Not bad going and some nice sizes Mate ;) ;D ;D 8) 8) I take it they where out of Spotted or Ironbark and how long where they ???

We've sawn out some pretty large beams. I can't remember the largest single beams but the largest project required 80 10"x10"x18' oak beams and about 100 other beams of various sizes. It was for a wooden bridge in Nebraska. We never did get to see the bridge. I wonder if it's still standing. smiley_headscratch
Weisy: really like your second post- short and to the point (empty, which is what I should be saying most of the time when I open my mouth...). Sounds like you've been busy.
I sure all the really deep south forum members- the ones on the south side of the equator! You all have a great perspective although your accents are a little hard to understand sometimes...
