I got to take my fiance?(don't know how to spell it, my future bride) fishing yesterday. It was her birthday and we caught the heck outta the bass. Well she did anyway but I did catch the biggest one 8) We went to Ericson which washed out earlier this summer thanks to the 30 plus inches of rain we had, but just below the dam in the river channel they were really bitin. Haven't had that much fun fishin for a long long time! Don't know for sure what the size is for master angler small mouth is in Ne but pretty sure we pushed it if not got it on a couple of them ;) :)
My wife used to fish before we got married too ;). Sounds like fun, did you take any pictures?
Yep but I'm not computer literate enough to get them on here, have to have one of the kids show me how to do it. Two of them had full grown crawdads in their bellies and one of them had a hook in it, just makes it a little sweeter. ;) Caught em all on nightcrawlers.
Congrats on the fishing trip and the future bride.
Note: Always be sure that the GF/Wife catches/kills the biggest. Then you are assured of being able to go back.

Doesn't matter if it's Bass or Bucks. She get's the biggest, you get a partner for life.
That's a nice mount Lynn. Everyone should know he hides it in his hunting cabin about an hour from his house. He had to find a way to keep people from knowing she is a better hunter than he. :D :D :D :D
MagicMan that is a beautiful mount! As for the bride to be she was happy enough just knowin she caught the most :D :D Still say it weren't fair just cause I had to keep takin care of the fish she was catchin :D

But
she knows it is why I get to keep going back. I don't hunt for mule deer, cause she needs to have the biggest. That's my excuse anyway cause I know that I could never beat that. I was with her when she shot though.
The point was sandhills, together is the "bestest" way. smiley_love
Yepper! We had a great time, sure we could do it a lot more often but gotta pay the bills too :(
