Title: what to charge for spruce 2x??

Any ideas on what to charge per 1000 bft for spruce 2x material?

The wider and longer the 2X is the more it's worth. What do you have?

Really depends on the lumber quality... around here most guys are getting around the $500/1000 bdft for decent rough grade 2x6@16ft...... bandsawn that is.....

I look at it as costs to supply logs verses sawing the customer's logs. $500 per 1000 bdft is typical for supply and saw, but $350 per 1000 bdft to saw customer's (consider condition of logs of course.)

Great.  Thanks, guys.  $500-600 was what I was planning on, and it sounds like you agree.  I appreciate the help.
