Title: What I did on my summer vacation!

This year my familiy and I took a vacation to remember, we went to the big Island of hawaii, here are some of the pictures I took.

this is the break down of my lunch - great local food
Cafe 100 this is the only reason I'm glad I don't live in Hawaii, I'd weigh 300 lbs + if I did.

It looks like you had a wonderful vacation! I'd love to see an active volcano "up close and personal"!

That lunch looks like a killer, though...

I see the spam on your "lunch" plate. A couple years ago, we were staying at a fancy hotel in Waikiki. When I first saw the breakfast menu, I thought the spam was a joke. It just didn't fit.  :D
Then I learned that it was an island favorite! That spam did fit in there with the refried rice, fresh pineapple and mango, pancakes with coconut syrup and all!

Thanks for sharing you and your family while on vacation, John.   Yep, the food can really ad to pounds.  I know, I was there myself for ten days, ONCE.   :-/That was enough for me. :-[  Now that I know about Steve on the Big Island, I reckon I could force myself to go once again.   ;D
