Title: I saw something new to me today
Post by: limbrat on October 28, 2010, 10:35:15 PM
It is the beads on a wishatery vine exploding. The noise caught my attention there was so much stuff falling that i thought there might be something in the tree cutting. Then i heard the same noise on the fence, I watched closer and was suprised at how violently they burst. So i got noisey i picked a bean off the fence and twisted and worried it untill it busted in my hand. The beans have a thin skin and the pod and seeds are woody after the pod busted the two sides were so warped that they wouldnt nearly go back together. the last couple of days have been warm and humid last night a front passed and we got a little rain today it was cool with very low humidity. Im guessing that when the bean pods dried the two sides warped burst the skin and blew the bean in half with pod and seed flying every were. First time i ever noticed it.
