That's some BIG wood, nice job and I hope you were well compensated.
My comment on the video would be that (for me) it is much too busy, with too many "instant" shots that are not long enough to appreciate the activity. Flitting movie shots are not for me.
Looks like big expensive equipment, and I suspect needed for certain situations. :)
I agree with beenthere . It is a facinating project . I was trying to figure out the diameter of the biggest tree. 6'?
So.... who liked the Russian Disco music? ;D
Methinks it would have been faster to just cut the trees, knock the pwr lines down, and get er done, and let the pwr co deal with the lines, while loading up the wood!
(ok, ok, maybe it would be FASTER, but maybe not make the pwr co happy!)
Nate
I liked it, a lot of visual info in a short form, thanks for sharing
Nice job on the video ACE, Thanks for sharing. :)
Gentlemen, video is very good, but the music just plain SUCKS!

I'll tell you one thing - If I was in that tree and that crane engineer let wood swing like that there'd be a whole lot more swinging going on and it wouldn't involve any wood.
Cool video just the same. 8)
looks like he was up there in that helmet cam vid. like 2~3 sec fall times when they got started. pretty tall tree!
