around here. Left work yesterday early for a trip to Fargo. Seems my #2 daughter Heidi, who is in college up there, has taken to seizures. I went up there last night to take her to get an MRI. They've taken her license away for now. Never got home til midnight. Was up at 5:30 milking the cows for one of the neighbor boys. He took his bride to her mothers for the upcoming holiday.
When I milk over there his dad always helps, he knows the set-up very well and all I have to do is slide in and swing milkers. He was telling me this A.M. that he has a cyst on one of his kidney's and is going into surgery on Dec. 29th.
You guys would like old Bob, he's the salt of the earth. I always enjoy his company when I'm milking.
Back home to do my chores. Got the kids all outside, fresh snow. I can see them out the window playing in the snow and trying to get a track pounded down the side of the hill to go sledding. They'll be soaked when they get in.
Thanks for listenin'
Gus

Hey Gus,
How is the wife doing ?
Seems this year is filling your plate with testing your character (spirit, well being)!
A daughter with seziures, friends with health failure and a wife in recovery.
Will continue to pray for you and your family.
BTW - did you get a mill?
They say that God won't give you more than you can handle, but man o man sometimes he sure does test you hard!
Our prayers are with you.
My daughter started having seizures when she was 12 years old. There was a leision between her brain and skull, said it had been there since birth. We let the doctors treat it with medicine for a couple of years but sometimes she still had them. Finally we let them do surgery. She is fine now. I wish you the best of luck.
