Title: Logs
Post by: Bill Gaiche on January 06, 2011, 11:19:03 AM
I was in Vicksburg, Miss Tuesday and was down by the river and ran across these logs being unloaded from  barges. Big ones Cottonwood 60" across butt others were Willow, Oak and other spices that the loader operator said but dont remember. These logs are from Illinois. I was impressed by the size of some of the Willows. Logs are processed at a mill  locally. bg

Anderson Tully is where those logs are headed I'm sure.

When I was in grading school, we took a trip down to Vicksburg and spent the day at Anderson Tully.

It was a very interesting trip.
