I was in Vicksburg, Miss Tuesday and was down by the river and ran across these logs being unloaded from barges. Big ones Cottonwood 60" across butt others were Willow, Oak and other spices that the loader operator said but dont remember. These logs are from Illinois. I was impressed by the size of some of the Willows. Logs are processed at a mill locally. bg

Anderson Tully is where those logs are headed I'm sure.

When I was in grading school, we took a trip down to Vicksburg and spent the day at Anderson Tully.
It was a very interesting trip.
inspectorwoody, you are correct. That is the company that was posted on the sign at the yard.
customsawyer, those are some impressive logs, beams and lumber. bg
