Does anyone know what size blades fit the old Wood Mizer LT20 Aluminum Portable Bandsaw Mill? I will be borrowing one for a while and would like to go ahead and have blades on hand. The owner has a box full from 20 years ago when he bought it and has no idea what length, width or pitch at all and I am not going to use his blades. Thank you, Paul in Mississippi
Welcome to the Forum..
The quickest way to find the answer would be to look on the Wood-Mizer blades web site (located to the left) and give them a call.
You are right Bibbyman, thank you, they answered my question right away, thanks again, Paul
Is this mill new to you? I thought they were rare but apparently there are a number of them out there.
There was one for sale on Indy Craigslist a couple months ago.
158"
Low Hp would be the .042 and sometimes the .045
If you use the .045 you have some selection on hook angle. I like the 9 degree on the low hp mills. WM part # would be units U3751589S or a box of 15 would be B3751589S. the .042 blades is only available in 10 degree.
We have a LT20 close to us and the owner of the LT20 also works for us. It works well. I think it is a 8 hp. He even polished the head with never dull.

I see an LT20 pop in the ad papers just over the border in NYS every once in a while.
Not new to me but I have known the owner a little for a few years and didn't even know he had this LT20. He bought it used on the Gulf Coast in the late 80s early 90s and used it over the years to do light cabinet work and old house restoration. It has been "upgraded" to 8 HP Honda but with vise grips holding it on. I am a machinist by trade so I am going to repair all the loose, kinked, bent parts...........it still saws but a 4x4 on one end is a 5x5 on the other end! Thanks, Paul
