I just heard on the news here that they are recalling the MS361C-Q.
STIHL Incorporated is recalling those model MS 361 C chain saw powerheads that are equipped with a rear-handle-activated chain braking system (referred to in some product literature as the MS 361 C-Q) manufactured between January 2004 and August 2009. These models were sold throughout the United States by STIHL Dealers and have a serial number range of 262 202 287 through 280 623 809.
The good news is that nobody bought any to begin with :D
Maybe I'm wrong, but that sure seems like the most annoying safety feature ever invented.
